Jadon was very worried. He had been predicted to fail the South African Matric Exams*, meaning that an university education would then be beyond his reach. Up until then, his dyslexia, dyscalculia and ADHD had been considered a liability, dragging down his results and predictions.
And the exams were looming, with very little time left to do anything about it.
Enter Axel Gudmundsson, Val van der Berg and the Davis Programme. The Davis approach is known for its fast-track way of addressing learning difficulties at root cause, harnessing the learner's own natural talents and thinking strengths to the task of overcoming the challenges.
Axel and Val wanted to see if the Davis approach could work fast enough for Jadon to pass his Matric. Doing this would unlock a whole different future for Jadon.
First, they set about addressing his reading and writing difficulties at root cause. And look what happened!
But what about Matric itself? Did Jadon pass? Find out in this last video instalment.
*roughly equivalent to A Levels in the UK, but with more subjects taken.
